Credit card disputes (sometimes referred to as a chargeback) occur when a cardholder asks the credit card issuer to reverse a charge. Unfortunately, this is something that every business owner is confronted with when accepting credit card payments.
If a dispute is initiated, FareHarbor will send you a dispute notification email immediately with specific details along with instructions for actions you can take. While we can’t prevent cardholders from filing these claims, we are more than happy to help you resolve any disputes as smoothly as possible.
