Report types overview

Effectively oversee your operations with the support of FareHarbor’s comprehensive range of reports. Read below to learn more about the report options currently available under the Reports tab.
Exploring top-level metrics
The Overview provides key reporting data, enabling you to quickly access important metrics.
- Bookings created: Review booking volume and channel details for the last seven days.
- Revenue collected: Review total revenue, as well as subtotals based on payment type, for the last seven days.
Year over year: Compare this year’s monthly performance against last year’s, grouped by availability date. Hover over the graph or use the Show details option to explore more granular monthly metrics.
Year over year is intended to serve as a general indicator of performance, and is not a comprehensive financial report.
(Note: Year over year shows revenue data available for as recently as yesterday’s date, and updates once every 24 hours. If the graph does not initially display data as of yesterday’s date, please refresh your page after a few minutes to view the most up-to-date data.)
Next payout: Review the total balance and date of your next payout.
- Popular items: Review the names and booking totals of the items most frequently booked during the last seven days.
Performance reports
Performance reports focus on top-level sales and bookings information, providing metrics for efficient leadership review. These reports include:
- Sales by item: A summary of transactions organized by item
- Sales by user: A summary of transactions, organized by the user who created the transaction
- Sales by availability: A summary of transactions grouped by availability
- Bookings by item: A summary of bookings grouped by item
- Bookings by user: A summary of bookings organized by the user who made the booking
- Item occupancy: A summary of how much of an item’s capacity is being booked within a given date range. (Note: At the moment, this report only includes items that do not use resources.)
- Affiliates and agents: A summary of affiliate bookings organized by the agent tagged on the booking; available if you work with affiliates. Previously known as the Agents report
- FHDN bookings: A summary of bookings associated with a FareHarbor Distribution Network (FHDN) affiliate’s Dashboard
- Benefit uses: A summary of members’ benefit usage over time; only available if memberships are enabled for the Dashboard
- Combos: A summary of bookings that include a combo; available if combos are enabled for the Dashboard
Operations reports
Operations reports can help support and streamline internal business processes. These reports include:
- Booking details: All bookings for a specific date range, along with detailed information for each
- Canceled bookings: A summary of canceled bookings. grouped by item; previously known as the Canceled report
- Crew: A summary of which crew members were assigned to bookings in a given date range
- Resource uses: Data on shared resource use during a given date range
- Underpaid: All bookings for a specific date range that are not paid in full
- Custom field answers: Data on customers’ custom field answers
- Gift cards: Data on gift card information, such as issuance and balance
- Lodgings: A summary of bookings broken down by customers’ lodging option; only available if transportation is enabled for the Dashboard
- Pickup locations: A summary of bookings grouped by pickup location; only available if transportation is enabled for the Dashboard
Customer and marketing reports
Customer and marketing reports can help provide data on customer responses and marketing-related strategies.
- Contacts: A summary of customer contact information for bookings within a given date range
- Customer types: A summary customer information, grouped by customer type and associated item
- Benefit uses: A summary of how members use their membership benefits within a given date range
- Booking source: A summary of booking sources within a given date range; possible source types include online, affiliate, direct, POS, or Kiosk
- Campaigns: A summary of how many times each campaign was used within a given date range, along with the associated items and revenue
- Desks: A summary of affiliate bookings, grouped by the desk tagged on the booking; this report is only available if you work with affiliates
Accounting reports
Accounting reports can help provide more granular information on payment and revenue-related data.
- Payouts and refunds: A summary of payouts within a given date range
- Expenses and discounts: A summary of manual price adjustments that were made on bookings, such as added retail items or discounts taken after the booking was made
- Credit card disputes: A list of all disputes within a given date range
- Revenue by type: A summary of transactions grouped by accrual status, then payment type, then item
- Refundable sales by week: A summary of unrefunded credit card transactions, grouped by availability week
- Affiliates invoices: View and create invoices for affiliate payments; available if you work with affiliates. Previously known as Invoices
- FHDN tax invoices: Load invoices for bookings made through the FareHarbor Distribution Network (FHDN). Previously known as FHDN invoices
- Payment processing documents: A list of invoices for transactions processed via FareHarbor, grouped by month; can be used for tax reporting
- API fee reconciliation: A summary of bookings included in API fee invoices within a given date range
Legacy reports
Legacy reports were previously available in FareHarbor prior to January 2017. Although legacy reports are still available in their original form if needed, they can be easily recreated using Advanced reports options.
- Detailed bookings: A list of all bookings within a given date range, along with detailed information about each
- Custom field use: A summary of how a custom field was used within a specific date range, and related booking sums
