Affiliate Dashboard
Last updated: October 9, 2025
The affiliate Dashboard allows affiliates to log in once and book with any company on FareHarbor they are connected to. Affiliates never see your private information—only your booking calendar and reporting for the bookings they create.
All bookings are made in real time, so you’ll always know which ones came from affiliates.
Using the Partners drop-down menu, affiliates can select which company’s booking calendar to view:
Once a company is selected, affiliates can see and book any items they have permission to access:
Keep the following in mind for affiliate booking calendars:
- Affiliates can create custom calendars within their Dashboard.
- Affiliates see all online items listed in your calendar, unless restricted by affiliate rules.
- Unlisted or private items cannot be sold through the affiliate Dashboard.
How do payments work?
Each affiliate is set up with a default payment method, depending on the way you work together. Available payment relationship options include:
- Referral: Your affiliate adds a credit card or does not add any payment to the booking. You are responsible for processing the payment and owe a commission amount to the affiliate.
- Billing: The affiliate processes the full payment on their end, keeps commission, and owes you your net rates.
- Net rate: The affiliate collects the payment outside of FareHarbor at the time of booking. You receive the net rate from the affiliate (retail price minus their commission) via a saved company credit card.
- Referral deposit: The affiliate marks that they collected their commission as a deposit from the customer, then either leaves an amount due or charges a credit to the FareHarbor booking form for the net rate amount.
Is this a good fit for my affiliate?
The affiliate Dashboard is most often used by hotel concierges or agencies with reservationists who collect customer payments directly.
Key benefits include:
- Prices can be customized for each affiliate.
- Affiliates can collect payment in their own point-of-sale (POS) system, and you can bill them for the net rates (Billing payment relationship).
- Control over which tours are available.
- Affiliates can book for multiple companies from the same place.
- Bookings are made just like your direct back-end bookings.
- Affiliates can tag agents (individual reservationists) to the bookings.
How do I set it up?
If you know of a potential affiliate that would benefit from this method, fill out the New Affiliate Request form. Once submitted, the FareHarbor Channel Support team will review your request and set up the affiliate within three to five business days (often sooner). If we need more details, we’ll reach out directly.
After setup, your affiliate will receive login credentials for their Dashboard. We’ll also share instructions with you on how to help them navigate it. Once their login is created, they’ll be ready to start making bookings on your behalf!
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
How can I restrict items or limit booking capacity for an affiliate?
You can use affiliate rules to apply time restrictions, capacity quotas, and permanent restrictions. These rules define when an affiliate can make bookings, how many they can make, or block them from making bookings entirely.
How can I hide one item from the affiliate’s Dashboard?
Apply an affiliate rule to permanently restrict the item by following the steps on this help page.
How can affiliates check their reports?
Affiliates can check their reports and booking history as long as they’re assigned to the correct permission group. If you need help with permissions, contact channelsupport@fareharbor.com.
Can affiliates cancel or rebook?
Not by default. However, if an affiliate collects payment from the customer, we can assign permissions to allow cancelling or rebooking within your cancellation policy. Contact channelsupport@fareharbor.com to adjust this.
Can affiliates send payment links?
Yes. Affiliates can use payment links through the Dashboard. Learn more about it here.
