FH Agent is an automated assistant that helps you respond to guest questions and support bookings across multiple communication channels. It uses information from your FareHarbor account and additional knowledge you provide to deliver consistent, real-time responses.

How FH Agent works

FH Agent interacts with guests through connected channels such as website chat, messaging platforms, phone, and email. Guests can also interact with FH Agent during the booking process on the FareHarbor Lightframe.

FH Agent analyzes incoming messages and responds using a combination of:

  • FareHarbor account data including tours, availability, pricing, and policies.
  • Knowledge you add, such as FAQs and business-specific details.
  • Configured actions that allow it to assist with bookings.

The assistant can answer common guest questions and support the booking process by checking availability, guiding selections, and creating reservations. Bookings created through FH Agent appear in the FareHarbor Dashboard like bookings from an affiliate.

All connected communication channels use the same configuration and knowledge base. This ensures guests receive consistent responses regardless of how they contact your business.

When to use FH Agent

Use FH Agent when you want to automate responses to common guest inquiries and streamline booking support. It is most useful when:

  • Guests frequently ask about availability, pricing, policies, or logistics
  • Your team spends significant time answering repetitive questions
  • You want to support guests across multiple communication channels with consistent information

FH Agent can handle many standard interactions. However, some conversations may still require human support, such as refund requests, complaints, or complex booking changes. Depending on your setup, these conversations can be escalated to your team or handled with a fallback response.
